About Us
ConChord Music is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to promote unity and harmony and mental health through music. We believe that music has the power to bring people together, to foster empathy and understanding, and to promote positive change in our communities with a particular emphasis on enhancing mental well-being.
ConChord Music is more than a group of young musicians in Seattle area; we’re a non-profit with a mission—to promote unity, harmony, and mental health awareness through the transformative power of music.
Our journey began with a shared passion for music and a shared concern for the state of mental health in our communities. The statistics surrounding mental health issues in our region were staggering. Many individuals, young and old, were silently struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. It became evident that mental health issues weren’t just personal struggles; they affected families, friends, and entire communities. The stigma surrounding mental health often prevented individuals from seeking help and finding the support they desperately needed. This is where we saw an opportunity to make a profound impact.
